Google Posts / List of Posts

The List of Posts section allows you to manage the posts published on your business locations’ Google Business Profiles. These posts let you communicate directly with your customers through: 

  • News or announcements (What’s new?
  • Events 
  • Offers or promotions 

Each post may include text, an image, a call-to-action button, and date information (especially for offers and events). 

According to Google, posts are visible in the “Updates” section of the business profile on Google Search and Google Maps, and automatically expire after 6 months (except for events and offers with specific dates). 

Available Filters 

The interface allows you to filter posts by: 

  • Date range: Filter by creation or publication period. 
  • Point of service: Show only posts linked to a specific branch. 
  • Post type: Show only posts of type Offer, Event or What’s new? 
  • Reset filters: Clear all applied filters. 

List of Posts 

  • Status: Displays the current state of the post (e.g., Processing, Published, Error, etc.). 
  • Post: The textual content of the post, visible on the Google profile (may be in French and/or English). 
  • Post type: Indicates whether it is an Offer, an Event or a What’s new? post. 
  • Creation date: The date and time the post was created. 
  • Publication date: The scheduled or actual publication date.

 🗑️ Permanently delete the post 

Add a Post 

At the top right, you can create a new post in one of the three available formats: 

  • Add an Offer 
  • Add an Event 
  • Add a What’s new? 

🛈 Note: According to Google, there may be a delay before the post becomes publicly visible on the profile. Posts must comply with Google’s content policies.
